After eight Inspector McLean books and five in the Ballad of Sir Benfro series, I left Penguin imprint Michael Joseph and joined the newly formed Wildfire Books at Headline. The idea was to continue writing Tony McLean’s stories, but also do something new in the crime fiction genre. That something new turned out to be Constance ‘Con’ Fairchild.
To date there are three books in the series. I hope there will be more.
