I’m a few pages away from the end of Natural Causes. The book is brilliant and I am so keen to read the next one that I would love to be one of your beta readers! As I live in Aberdour and know Edinburgh well, Natural Causes has that added piquancy of familiarity. As a proof reader of proposals in the past and having noted a few typos in NC, would this give me a few Brownie points towards being a beta reader? Either way I am really looking forwared to reading The Book of Souls and recommending NC to others. J.

I’ve gone kindle-exclusive for the first three months, as Amazon gives me better marketing facilities that way. Panic not, though. A Nook version will be available in late September. In the meantime, check your email inbox ;}#

As I am very hard to please I have to say this book was a treat to read. Well constructed and compelling story. Cannot wait to read Body of Souls on my Kindle. Is there another book in the pipeline! Hope so.

Thanks William. I’m working on the third one at the moment. You’ll also find a few free McLean short stories over at the DevilDog Publishing website if you’re into that sort of thing.

I have read and thoroughly enjoyed Natural Causes and The Book of Souls. I love the way you use the supernatural element but still manage to make it believable. Can’t wait for the next one!

Thanks Eleanor, glad you enjoyed them. I’m working on the next one as fast as I can.
