Rubbish as I am at updating these pages, I’ve been very remiss of late in telling you all where I will be and when. It’s quite possible that nobody really cares, of course. But just in case you do, here’s my schedule for the end of 2016 – the year that keeps on giving.
Wednesday November 9th – Noir at the Bar Edinburgh – 7pm until late at the Wash Bar, 11-13 North Bank Street, Edinburgh. Join me, Russel McLean (no relation), Neil Broadfoot, Shelley Day, Jackie McLean (also no relation), Mark Leggatt, Vic Watson, Tana Collins and Lucy Cameron as we read extracts from our books, answer questions and drink prodigious amounts of booze. Given what’s happening across the water, I think we’re all going to need it.
Thursday 17th-Sunday 20th November – Iceland Noir, Nordic House, Reykjavik. Details here.
Tuesday 22nd November – Book Week Scotland – Mitchell Library, Glasgow – 6.30pm – I’ll be joining Clare Mackintosh and Adam Hamdy to talk about our latest books and stuff. Tickets and details here.
Wednesday 23rd November – Book Week Scotland – Mayfield Library, Edinburgh – 7.00pm – just me this time, reading, talking, answering questions. This one’s free, but information here.
Thursday 24th November – Book Week Scotland – Largs Library, North Ayrshire – 7.00pm – more of me, but on the other side of the country. Here’s the skinny.
Friday 25th November – Book Week Scotland – Dunbar Library, East Lothian – 7.00pm – because it’s as far away from Largs as it’s possible to go. Details on this link.
Incidentally, Book Week Scotland isn’t just about me; there are hundreds of events all over the country, supported by the Scottish Book Trust and promoting libraries and reading. Check out the website, see if there’s something happening near you, and most important of all USE YOUR LIBRARY!!!
