No fair. {jk). Fans from America can’t enter contest. Love your novels. I always have trouble buying them here and never when they are just released. Good thing they are worth the wait! Thanks for your books– they are great.

Sorry about that. It’s all down to the way publishing works and splits up the world into territories. I had a different US publisher for the first three, so my UK publisher Penguin can’t give away books over there! I’m very pleased you’ve enjoyed the books so far. Dead Men’s Bones and Prayer for the Dead will be coming out in the US shortly from Crooked Lane books. Keep an eye out for more details soon!

I will continue to read your novels whether or not I can participate in the ‘free stuff’ promotion. I picked up your first book while in Scotland and have been a fan ever since. All your books are available through the great ‘Amazon’ site. Keep up the good work, your novels are first rate.

Hi James, I have been sitting here with my copy of ‘Dead Men’s Bones’ and the photo of the ‘refreshed’ cover. Have to say I think the original still have the pull and set the atmosphere for the story inside. Yes, there are now many copycat covers but to me, that hint of dark deeds has gone. However, I look forward to seeing these new covers in the shops, or indeed on the signed set if I’m one of the lucky winners.

I think they will look better full size and in the flesh. I didn’t dislike the old covers though; we just thought it was time for a change of direction. Good luck in the competition!
